- THE
CLEMENT Allah, The Clement, means that Allah is never in a hurry to punish His servants for their sins and gives them enough time to ask for forgiveness. His mercy overcomes His anger and He is ever inclined to forgive on penitence. Allah praised and appreciated the forbearance of Hathrat Ismail (peace be upon him) and called him Haleem because on hearing of the horrifying news that he was to be sacrificed at the commands of Allah he was as serene and calm as before. While
praying to Allah with this Name Al-Haleem we must be tolerant, forbearing and
affable in our treatment and dealings with everybody. |
